This place is perfect!

This was my favourite place in Tallinn. I visited multiple times during my stay. One of the best wine bars I’ve ever been to. I would return solely for this wine bar. The decor inside is lovely (modern but comfy and welcoming) and the outdoor seating is cute. It’s on a quiet street not far from the main touristy parts but doesn’t have a touristy feel. The staff are excellent. They provide outstanding service and are happy to talk and provide recommendations according to your taste without any of the usual wine snobbery. They really know their stuff! The food was also excellent. It was prepared fresh and full of flavour despite being simple (gazpacho and courgette carpaccio). This place is perfect and had the best WC I’ve ever seen! You will not regret coming here. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5.

This is a spectacular place!

This is a spectacular place! The sommelier was amazing, asking questions to learn our taste preferences and bringing us tastes of wines from around the world to get that perfect wine. The meat and cheese boards were amazing. They also were customized to best suit our tastes. The decor is warm and inviting. Perfect for an afternoon or late evening out. Even the bathroom is fantastic. This is a must visit. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5.

The place to go!

The most beautiful wine bar I have ever been to! The owner was so nice and helped me until I found a wine I liked. The decor is superb, the wine list is very impressive and they are so kind to explain everything you’re curious about. Wine lovers, this is the place to go to! Really a special place!

This wonderful little wine and cocktail bar was so much fun. They have a really great staff that can talk about wine in multiple languages. They also have card and trivia game for people to play. Really a special place. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5.

For a classy night out!

Incredibly lovely little space under the former KGB headquarters. Upon walking in you know you’ll be having an elevated night. The staff were very friendly and very attentive to our needs. There are many good snack options and a deep menu of alcoholic (and non-alcoholic). Also, one of the best bathroom experiences I have ever had. Great smells and tons of little jars offering treats, candies and a few other surprises! Highly recommend for a classy night out. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5.

Beautiful wine bar!

Beautiful wine bar with excellent service and a knowledgeable bartender. The wine was delicious and so many to choose from. If I lived here for any amount of time, this place would be my go-to wine bar. I gave the bartender a flavor profile and let him figure it out, and I was not disappointed. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5.

Impeccable service!

Impeccable service – friendly, professional and attentive without being pushy. Awesome wines, great atmosphere. Nice music, which is so difficult to find, as most of places play some random umpf really loud. Not here. Great place for an apero or just chilling out. Very calm terrace without cars passing. Coziest wine bar in Tallinn!

This is the coziest wine bar in Tallinn. The atmosphere is impeccable, like your living room, but probably better! The wine and champagne selection is also impeccable. The staff and service are friendly and top quality. The American owner makes the best guacamole and salsa in the Baltics.And every restaurant should have their bathrooms decorated, lit and stocked like this. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5.

So cozy and well decorated!

It’s so cozy and well decorated! You can go with friends and get a bottle of Austrian wine for 40 euros with free chips as a small snack. They have an enormous wine list, and the owner likes to explain where the wines come from and give a bit of the history behind the bar, which makes it even better. A great experience!

We stumbled across this place by pure accident while walking around the old town and were greeted by a very welcoming host. A great selection of wines and snacks that compliment the wines. A hidden jewel!

A hidden jewel in the city of Tallinn! An exceptional choice of wines. The sommelier does a fantastic job! He will choose and offer the best wines according to your taste. The man is extremely passionate about his job. Overall, the best customer service I encountered in Tallinn. The interior is really cozy, and if you wish you can sit outside and enjoy the view of beautiful Oleviste Kirik. Vixen has definitely earned a returning customer. Just truly phenomenal!

All I can say is that I’d be happy to fly 16 hours, take a two-hour ferry and then crawl here on my hands and knees. I’ve never ever enjoyed a wine bar more than this place. Five stars? How about ten! Just truly phenomenal. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Atmosphere: 5/5.
